We will not sell "get your money back" leads. That market is itself a scam.

Reporting routes are government or nationally recognised bodies. Support routes are established public or charity services.
We never ask for case files, IDs, wallets, or remote access
Anyone contacting you claiming to be Scam Smash and asking for these is impersonating us. We don't take case files, ID documents, wallet details, or remote access to your device, ever.
What changed in this version
- The whole site is now available in English, Spanish, and Chinese, not just the reporting directory.
- The reporting directory grew from 18 to 31 countries, adding Spain, Mexico, Taiwan, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Brazil, Japan, and Italy.
- New Social media account hacked? section on the homepage: free, official recovery tools for Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, WhatsApp, Snapchat, and LinkedIn.
- UK reporting updated to Report Fraud (reportfraud.police.uk), which replaced Action Fraud on 4 December 2025.
- Canada's current national form: reportcyberandfraud.canada.ca, alongside the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and Canadian Centre for Cyber Security.
- India 1930 + cybercrime.gov.in, Philippines 1326, Hong Kong 18222, Singapore 1799.
- A separate Support page for helplines that actually pick up the phone.
- Africa and Caribbean English-speaking desks added, with the caveat that some still require a station visit rather than an online form. Malta added.
- New Zealand correction: CERT NZ was retired; incident and scam reporting now runs through NCSC NZ.
- UK deepened: NCSC phishing reporting, FCA Firm Checker and Warning List, ICO, and Cifas (clearly labelled as paid).
- New Free tools page: Have I Been Pwned, Pwned Passwords, Mozilla Monitor, VirusTotal, and official Google/Microsoft/Apple account security reviews, each labelled by free/paid status.
- New Health check: a 30-question, 100-point scored check across identity, email, banking, devices, social media and exposure, calculated entirely in your browser.
Who runs this
Scam Smash was founded and is run by Surinder, a 25-year veteran of the cybersecurity industry. It started from a simple frustration: reporting a scam shouldn't require ten minutes of searching to find the right official desk.

Keep this running
Scam Smash runs on volunteer time. Every listing here gets checked by hand against the organisation's own site, not copied from search results, and agencies move their URLs more often than you'd think. A contribution goes toward hosting and the hours spent re-verifying links so this stays accurate.
